How can you survive late game

I can survive just fine, but the money i make each day is the problem I am 54 days in with a quota around 7,000 and i gotten the maximum money i could get in that day (which was around 1,600) which is not even close to the amount i needed. Is it just random how much spawns? or should I just keep restarting until I get an adequate amount of scrap on a planet.
Am I just unlucky? btw I was scavenging artifice.

question, how are you going about selling scrap? if your selling all of it at the end of every quota, then yes, you wont be able to loot enough from moons to make higher quotas.

For sure you have to save as much scrap from each day as possible. Typically we (my team) save atleast $400 bucks worth by the end of two cycles. Once you get to the point of Day 20 or so there has to be atleast a couple thousand saved up or your not just cooked, your deep fried with BUTTER!!!!

I had to just sell all of my left over scrap to survive the last quota

You’re cooked. If you want to get higher quotas, you need to max out every day, and go to artifice only. (First quota go to adamance)

yup thats what i do but on the second quota i sell everything to get a jetpack, cruisier and artifice
