Bolt action rifle ?

Well, Im not trying to bait for attention nor to troll, is it possible to add a bolt action rifle (with even more limited ammo than the revolver) ?

The purpose of this rifle is for more believable settings, it's inside a war bunker afterall there must be some kind of one rifle (although broken or easily jammed), that it can be used to scare away the monster for a short period of time and it can jammed randomly. I believe it will add more tension and believable atmosphere in the game.

It has a chance to jam, in the face of approaching monster so there is a chance that the rifle won't shoot unless you fix it (which takes time while the monster are getting near)

This is just a suggestion, of course devs know the best their game, but a suggestion won't hurt.

With the release date being so close, I doubt they'll add any new weapons. Modders could make it a reality, but it'd take a long while.

How do we know there arent any hidden weapons? I could see them having a trench gun you can get...if you're willing to go through the hoops to actually get it, that sort of thing. We saw use of a grenade in one bit on the store page gifs

Items like grenades are found littered across the map, they aren't just secrets

Unless there was an American soldier around you wouldn't see a trench gun. Rifle for sure. One of those old Lebel bolt action rifles.
