Expert mode IBIS codes
Hi, I'm new to this excellent simulator. I am trying to drive runs using the expert mode, but cannot for the life of me work out what codes to put into the Ibis.

Say I want to start at Barmbek, and run clockwise around the line back to Barmbek. What codes do I put in?

Thanks for any help

Hi, assuming you'd like to depart at 13:06, you'd use 861306 as train number and 69 as destination. You'll find a list with all of the codes on the right side of the cab.

I tried this as you stated, but where is the number 86? And the info on the wall to the right, I don't see it, where is this number coming from and how are we to know the driver's number?

Hi,

as a quick explanation: The columns on the left (↓) are meant for trips from the top of the list towards the bottom, i.e. from "Barmbek BA" to "Wandsbek-Gartenstadt WK".
The columns on the right (↑) serve for trips in opposite direction.

The cells in black indicate what you'll need to enter into the IBIS.

Thus, if you want to start at Barmbek and drive towards Mundsburg - Berliner Tor - ... - Barmbek, then you will need to start at Barmbek (BK) and search for the right column - you'll find the 86 there.

For terminating in Barmbek (BA), you then need to take the respective number from the right column, in this case 69.

If you want to drive in the opposite direction (top->down in the table), then please use the left column instead.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for getting back to me and providing additional information, took me a bit of searching to find the manual and I have a fair bit of reading to do.
