That's super interesting to see how fiddly it was with where to actually arrange the puzzles so that literally every grouping of the same color squares is solvable. Love the work that was put into this game. Thanks for sharing, and awesome game!

crazy how many of those void lakes came from just noticing a convenient tiling pattern, especially since searching for those was my second favorite part of the game (I personally enjoyed the blue/pink floor tile puzzles the most). Loved seeing the insight that went into making my favorite short and sweet puzzle game!

Very interesting read, thanks for sharing! I wasn't aware that you are also the developer behind Patrick's Parabox, and I've noticed those 2 games were released almost a week apart. Did you develop them in parallel?

Glad you enjoyed it! :) Yes, it was very fiddly arranging things! Glad that came across.

I wanted the void lakes to feel natural! In retrospect I think there could have been more, though. Glad you enjoyed the behind-the-scenes! :)

Glad you enjoyed it! Parabox was released March 29th 2022. And Linelith was released May 19 2022 along with the rest of the games of the CosmOS 9 bundle, which the game was made for. So yes, they were developed in parallel; it was coincidental (and perhaps a little unfortunate) that the release dates were fairly close to each other.

Awesome! It's really interesting to compare my thoughts as a player of many puzzles and your thoughts as the developer.
