If using a DualShock 4 controller, turn off DS4Windows.

So the recent patch added native support for the DS4 controller for both Steam and Game Pass. If you also have DS4Windows running it will COMPLETELY break your controller in game. I finally figured this out as I haven't been able to play since the most recent patch, thinking they just totally broke controller support somehow.

I didn't realize they had added support with this patch, or else I would have tried this sooner, haha. Hope this helps someone having the same issue.

Hi ! Actually trying to play with my ds4 controller and the game recognize it, i can navigate through the menu etc.. but everything is mapped as it's axbobx controller.
I haven't any software other than the game running. I dunno what to do, is there something to do with steam ?

That's titled "Game Pass," but it applies to all versions of the game.

Replace all instances of "WinGDK" with "Windows" in the directions

For the Steam version, this is the path:

%localappdata%\Sandfall\Saved\Config\Windows

And the INI section is:

[CommonInputPlatformSettings_Windows CommonInputPlatformSettings]
