not had any issues with running it on desktop, RTX 3090 amd 5950x 32gb ddr4 3600mhz (I capped fps to 60) on a super ultrawide 5120x1440 monitor but the initial shader building took forever. not had any controller issues, as i see some saying about it, using a ps5 dualsense through usb for the haptics and adaptive trigger features. currently building shaders on steam deck which is taking forever also, im gonna guess its gonna run a bit crap on deck right now, but we will see if it ever finishes building...... after 30 mins its at 36%, guess i got a while....
I had CPU issues at first but that was just because of shader building. Since then, not had a single issue. Using Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller.
what is this patch for? seems like people are saying it doesn't do a whole lot instead its increasing the crashing for some users and others are saying its fixing mouse stutter while panning in the game.

No clue, nothing in update history..I'm hearing that it's some kind of controller compatibility... does a lot of good lol.. at least they're actively doing something

5 minutes of gameplay after this patch

It turned off DLSS for me, hence why I thought in the first place the patch had fixed the high CPU usage.
The game comes with v.2.9.6 which is causing memory leaks.
V2.9.5 can be found Here:
https://www.nexusmods.com/thelastofuspart1/mods/11
Additionally, download Reduce Memory and set it to dump at 70% usage
this will fix the memory leak and crashing
