One has to be extremely dedicated to do this. With high ass inflation going one has to have a nice paying job where spending this kind of money on a game that costs more than most games out there these days.

This has to be one the worst kind of money greedy companies I have seen to do this. This is along the levels of EA and Ubisoft if not worse

I don't think I have seen a game like this that charges this much money and is seems like its pay2win on top of everything else. I think this company is on another level
yugioh LotD (the original) wasnt any better in terms of pricing with the card DLC
https://store.steampowered.com/app/480650/YuGiOh_Legacy_of_the_Duelist/
But the base game price is only 20 bucks

I think it was about $40 at launch which still costed less, it also has a substantially larger card library and a solo mode that spanned all the series up to that point.

Did LOTD have Day 1 DLC as well?

I mean it is expensive in a way but I am having fun. Better than the free to play model for which in my past experience is too expensive to how I want to play.

Sadly the newkid generation has started a trend that will only make things worse.

Expect the normal price for games to rise from 60, to who knows what. SPecially since they know theres a bunch of weebs already paying it

70 dollars, and over 200 in dlc first day, totally not worth it and frankly its predatory. I can see maybe spending 40 for the game, but not a 70 dollar price tag when you have all this dlc/ micro-transaction nonsense.

there are WAY worse games out there and the "rare card" stuff can be got in game, the chara pack and sleeves are just cosmetics, and only thing that's important, and not even now but down the line is the card pass. and that's honestly better than a subscription or lootbox or whatever.

Those who say this game is indie, LMAO. So with a large publisher is a indie game, get ur definition terms right. So u say that bushiroad is indie, dare u post that "bushiroad is indie" by publicity said that in bushiroad fan page, see how many times u are being harsh.
