Losing Items

as many have stated including Kage848 items are vanishing out of certain containers when logging off and back on , my oven had a bunch of food in it last night, logged on today and EVERY single food item was just gone i dismantled the oven hoping a bag would drop or something but negative it ate my food items literally please please fix this, this is a huge problem in the community right now thank you devs!

Agreed. I lost everything in my oven as well. I'm playing an impossible loot game so it was pretty rough trying to find some quick food.

im single player but lost everything from my stove sauce pans are just not that easy to find

hopefully next patch addresses this, i had to " cheat " and give myself the food items back and i didnt want too but i didnt want to start over again neither seems to be a huge problem with everyone so i got faith they will fix it i just hope its sooner rather than later

Lost all of my veg out of 2 freezers, keep losing tires from tire racks and car batteries from battery racks, lost pots and pans out of 2 of 3 stoves, I don't want to cheat but this is difficult.

Battery racks bugged for sure. We stored a bunch of batteries in one, and when we was going to pull one out... there was none there even the rack did display several.

yup anything and everything. ammo, charcoal, ingots etc. etc.

I think you can loose stacks on top of work benches.

A stack of electronics IS gone, I am just not 100% sure, 95% sure, it was sitting on the bench when I saved and logged.

And, funny thing, I am still using vehicles as storage as it seems the most reliable right now. Kage848 might disagree but he is still butt hurt from the bug on the initial release. 😂

I can't even smelt ores into ingots cause of it. I pull them out and poof. all gone.

i had to put the game up for now its kinda lame i gotta keep spawning in items and cheating just to enjoy the game because everytime i log on something seems to be gone out my chests or benches. And the fact the devs havent commented on it yet is kinda worrisome really hope they see all this and fix it soon i would like to get back to this game i really enjoy it but i dont enjoy cheating at all.

That's weird Jay .. I have only had one item go missing and it was sitting on a bench.

Are you running mods or other software when you play?

And I wouldn't call replacing de-spawned items as cheating. I think you can do that with a clear conscience. I do get it if you don't want the hassle.

no mods at all man and you can clearly see its happening to others as well even Kage848 a streamer its happened to as well its gotta be a bug in the games code somewhere and i know its not technically cheating but it doesnt feel good spawning in items for some reason lol

It is happening, I agree, It has happened to me, but it is rare. That's why I threw it out there that maybe you got something running that is making it more persistent. Your post makes it sound like you got a real problem with it.

so do i my brother i stream also with obs snap camera and a bunch of other stuff and never had this issue before on this game and i can tell you aint no way Kage uses mods he uses the in game dev menu and has showed it on his new playthrough that has nothing to do with it i promise you. Its the game having issues and you literally just confirmed it yourself not sure what youre trying to prove here. And its not just me look how many others have commented on it. Humble yourself pal

Been mostly playing co-op with a friend, and the other day we started discover when we loaded up the game, we had like a cooler loose all its items and such. Then later discovered that by load the game, then exit back to main, and load the save again, brought the items back... so go figure... We had the same cooler miss its items on loading our game several times now, and it always resolved itself (so far), by doing the above...

So you are running other software and micros that may be aggravating the issue. .. I humbly say .. OK, Got it, I thought it might be that.

I am not trying to prove anything just searching for why you have so many items disappearing. It is called helping. Geeezzz.

Your Kage comment is just weird, you don't know, and way to micro focus on one word of my sentence then follow up with a personal attack .. thanks for that.
