Tactics?
I'm curious if this version of DA will have AI tactics. I really enjoyed Origin's tactics, and the subsequent 2 games dumbed tactics down a great deal. Would be nice to be able to effectively program the actions of your followers based on many conditionals. Anybody know how it'll work?

No. Only thing you can do from what I've seen is command companions to use abilities. From a gameplay perspective though it's just effectively more abilities you can use as the main character. Companions can't even be downed from what I can tell.

i enjoyed the tactics too but I doubt its needed? Companions don't die, dont contribute much to damage

From what I have seen it is a very watered down Mass Effect Battle system. It would surprise me if there would be room for programmable tactics!

None of that, you assign them 2 abilities i think and in combat actively tell them to use those abilities. It seems extremely shallow and you'll just be spamming the same 2 ability combos over and over.

There's no tactics AI to setup because there's no more party companions in combats.

It's single character combats, with symbolic companions just used by player for more attack types and ability to make multiple attacks at same time.

Companions are never attacked by enemies.
Compnaions can't aggro enemies.
Companions don't move they teleport if they need to make next attack you asked them.

No more party, bizarre single character combat system, but it get a lot of very positive feedback but for sure give up the idea of party combats, not in this game.

You can tactically press LMB and RMB in various sequences while the enemy stands there doing nothing.
