Why wont SFM work?

Everytime I turn on Source Filmmaker it says I have started playing it in the "View Friends List" area, but when I wait like 5 minutes it then changes to just "online". How can I get SFM working again?

yeah mine wont run at all i click it then it crashes no warnings of error reports

I fixed it, just go to your library, go to Source Filmmaker, launch SDK. Then turn it on through there.

Yeah same thing here. Restarted Steam. Tried things offline and online, restarted the whole computer. Nothing. Sometimes I click launch and it spins like it is trying to open and other times it says that the "app is already running" (clearly not true).

Not working.

Same here, I launch, and it says I'm In-App, but a few seconds later it says I'm online. Restarting Steam did nothing.

Actually nevermind, launching it through the SDK worked for me.

Sounds like the update screwed something up. hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
