Need help with SFM
Hi. I have some Ideas for SFM movies but have no experience with the program or similar programs. I have followed the valve tutorials and one other one but I have encountered a problem. After creating a scout model, I have no way of moving the 'Bones'. In the tutorials that I have seen, the bones are multicoloured, yet what I see is white lines and shapes that are not completely flush with the shape of the model. I have know idea why this is happening and have not found anything on the internet. Please help.
Thanks - phillykills

Because you've applied rig_biped_simple. And they're white because you've selected everything. Try selecting something in the motion editor. Ctrl+Left click on his left foot bone for example.

Ok thanks I finally got it working but I'm a bit later into the movie now and I'm stuck on how to turn the game volume down. I've got music playing that I wan't to be heard but there's a minigun spin up and firing noise. I was wondering how to turn it down. Without turning the music down.
If you're using something that you recorded, I can't help. BUT if you are using sounds that you put in via the clip editor(or i dunno what it's called) just right click the sound clip you want to lower, and choose Set Volume then type a number between 0 and 1. For example: 0.5 to get the sound volume's half.
