Movie lags like hell, if hell lags. Help.

Good day, gentelmen. I got a problem: when i export a movie, it starts lagging as hell at certain moment and i have no idea why. Doesn't lag in editor though.

When you're rendering a movie, leave your computer alone. It's meant to do that.

Rendering is a very CPU intensive process. It will consume every ounce of resources on the computer that it can. Most professional-grade equipment is designed to be run in a "render farm" utiliziing dozens, (hundreds, even?) of computers all working to render a single movie. As Berry Punch says, it's "meant" to do that. Go have a snack, watch TV or take a nap. :)

It's always going to lag when exporting. It will lag more depending on what you have going on in the movie.

When its exporting, just dont click ur mouse around because ur screen will go into
"Not Responding" mode...
I just kind of let it do its own thing, and it usually works out the problem itself, just to touch it when its doing that

If you're exporting your movies as AVI files, your computer might have a hard time playing the video, because uncompressed AVI files are reeeealy large. (Meaning the video doesn't really lag, it's the computer.) Try a different format or compress the video using an external software.

im exporting in MP4, 720p without even toching my PC whilt it is exporting. After few seconds of watching movie statrts to lag like hell.

dont export to mp4, use png image sequence and combine the files to an MP4 in a seperate program

Regardless of which format is better, rendering in mp4 shouldn't cause the lag.
