Backward's Ballcap texture
I just noticed that this hat's texture is really washed/faded out.

According to the TF2 Wiki, it should be showing up brighter.

Is the wiki wrong or is the texture messed up a little? Not a huge issue. Just more nitpicking I suppose lol.

Good old "$blendtintcoloroverbase" "1" painting mode SFM doesn't support. Yep, it's messed up.

Want me to fix it? I could probably pull it off, since it's meant to be a solid colour.
If you could, I'd greatly appreciate it. That's my favorite hat and I like to make my own profile pictures with it :)
Alright, I think that's about a close as it's gonna get: http://i.imgur.com/IZhU4Yd.jpg

My usual file sharing site seems to be crapping up, I'm gonna give Google Drive a go. Does this link work?

If it does, put fwk_scout_cap.vtf in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf\materials\models\player\items\scout\.
That worked beautifully. Once again, R234, I cannot thank you enough :D The hat proxy worked on it beautifully as well.

Why is it that the only hats I use in SFM are the broken ones? (Eg: Backward's Ballcap, Tough Guy's Toque, Texas Ten Gallon (Not paintable)
The Texas Ten Gallon isn't broken, it paints perfectly fine.

Not for me it doesn't...

Wait, I'm trying to paint it from within SFM. Is that what I'm doing wrong?

No, it's not wrong, quite the opposite. Just add override materials, and in the element viewer, use the colour picker that appears in the material array. Easy peasy.

Oh wow. I was using THIS method of painting hats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFEFuqSjSDw

How do people still use that? it was obsolete literally years ago...
