Link to the original TF2 models?
So basically, when I started with SFM, I had the bad idea to replace the things in the tf folder by other things (instead of putting them in the usermod folder) and now when I loaded a Meet the session, the gibs were errors and some of the models were really distorted (since they weren't the original ones).
Oh, actually the models in the tf folders are nowhere to be found in the .mdl files when I search for them in SFM.

Does anybody have a download link were I can get the original tf folder back? It'd be really appreciated.

Or is the solution to make a backup of my usermod folder and reinstall SFM? Does it download all the stuff again like that?
Thanks o. o

Rename your tf folder with your custom content in it to something else then go to the steam client library's all software area and right click on SFM. Go to Properties select local files a then select validate local application cache. This will cause SFM to search for corrupt or missing files and then it will download the replacements. (takes about an hour or two to complete depending on what's missing (in this case the entire tf folder))

Alright, did it, the gibs are okay again, the mercs textures seem to be fine, but my Medic in the Meet The Soldier session still looks weird. Well it's worse than before.
I don't really understand what's going on, because when I spawn the Medic be searching for player\medic, it looks just fine.
When I lock the new Medic in the one that is already there and slide the "Zero" thing, it's perfectly fine.
I could just put a new Medic to play with the session but that'd still be great to know what's going on, if there's a file in my usermod folder that is messing something up or I don't know, me, I have a brand new tf folder, I deleted the things in my usermod folder related to the Medic, I did all I knew I could do without corrupting everything.

Oh, after flying around I realized it wasn't my only problem, it happens with Sentries and some other models too.

This usually happens when a model is currently of a different version than the one saved in the project file. Since MTS is a fairly old project, this is normal, so to speak. Usually right clicking the model's animation set and going to utilities > reattach to model fixes this.

Won't work with sentries though, since they changed their skeletons. They have to be reimported and reanimated manually.
