Tangible feel ... E.g: a trade delegation is sent - caravans appear and make a round trip from one fiefdom to another.
OK, but then my Trade Cart kept going back and forth ... after the event. No pop-up info to tell me what these carts mean.

Love it, and it has a consistent and 'renaissance' feel - nice.

Erm ... not so much! Tutorial needs to aide the player on what to actually do during the "year".
