Good places to find blueprints?

I’ve fully upgraded my benches and now I’m having trouble finding blueprints. Are there any particular spots I might be able to farm them over time, or just be more likely to find them? Is it just random? Obviously I know the loot event at the top of Spaceport is a big one, but as a solo that’s near impossible, and most of my points are in mobility so no security lockers.

I’m missing out on so many guns cause I can’t build em! My gun bench is sitting all pretty with no one to dance with it. If anybody could help point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it!

I wondered the same thing. From what I've read I think it's just random, but I haven't found any new blueprints at all this past weekend...

Special events help to get blueprints. But they are really everywhere. You need to try every type of lootbox. There is more chance in special rooms like breached room, hidden room (like needing to jump from two balcony to get it, etc ...), ...

certain type of lootbox drop certain type of blueprints, others drop another type, etc ...

If you just look into red locker or room locked behind batteries/keys, you will not find blueprints.

There is plenty of videos on youtube who give advice ... for blueprints.

Quests give also blueprints.

ive had decent luck going in on night events and electromagnetic storms to dam battlegrounds.

across the victory ridge are 3 locations: pattern house, ruby residence, and pale apartments.

depending on your spawn you can check all three quickly using 1-2 adren shots to make the crossing from ruby to pale (or pale to ruby if you spawn east).

my looting strats

pattern house the rooms connect via vertical zipline, there are rooms in the opposite corners of each floor you can search but they usualy dont have many loot spawn locations. start at the lower floor and work your way up, on the last floor you can circle much further around clockwise in the building than other floors at the end of it (before it takes you to central stairway) there is an elevator you can jump out to and use to lower yourself to ground level.

ruby has 3 buildings with the 2nd and 3rd floors being the good loot spots for each structure. if you rush up to floor 3 and start looting there, then you can head down to floor 2 for loot and when done can jump out any window on that floor without fall damage to quickly get to the next building. id suggest doing the house furthest southwest first (its middle elevation) then the high ground house, then the one lowest. i just find its more stamina efficient.

for pale its a pretty similar layout to ruby but less buildings. same strat, start higher work your way down till you can jump out.

if you do pattern house last there is an extraction point very close there. if you do pale last its a bit of a jog.

I've pulled maybe 5-6 blueprints since the game came out and every single one of them has been from a random drawer in an unmarked area. Not a single one from a security breach or a keyd room. My RNG sucks. However I've played with people who every few drawers they open in unmarked areas they always either got a blueprint or an epic. They're RNG was amazing for no reason. It really seems almost based on the player with RNG as well, played with one of them again a week after that and same thing, they kept getting blueprints or epics from just random stuff that made no sense to the point that they were just giving us all the ones they already knew. It's completly RNG based and nothing to do with location and it seems you're RNG is tied to your account. My buddy is still getting the same pulls since the game came out and it makes no sense.

Found the Wolfpack blueprint in a random trashcan in the Burried City hospital at night, they can be anywhere

I feel like people saying locked rooms are 100% guessing.. ive prolly done close to 100 keys and pretty sure ive never found or heard of anyone getting a blueprint from there(not saying it's impossible just saying you dont have to force going there cause the rate doesnt seem any better compared to anywhere else really). IMO it seems like for certain blueprints 2 spawn.. certain map condtions need met but that's probably only for a few rarer BP's and imo the rest can spawn anywhere/everywhere. Dont just focus on red/yellow zones or key rooms.. search the cubed metal crates, lockers, cabinets etc regardless of where on the map. I found one a few days ago in a AMMO case.

Ive ran the control tower room like 6 times on night raids. Best i ever got was a venator 2 and the same osprey print. The dupes are killing me. The RNG should switch once you found said blueprint imo. It's been brutal. Haven't been finding any this entire week. When the game started, I found way more. idk whats going on, something is up

Nothing noted on the event. Some people say yes to certain things, others say yes to other items or locations. Nothing is hard proven.

As for me, I found a Wolfpack BP in a dumpster right in a spawn area as we got in. Was an apartment are in Dam Battlegrounds.

Honestly, the odds of BP's is so weird and generally janky. Just loot any area with a lot of lootable containers, preferably in higher value loot areas to increase your odds.

I was looking for rubber components after being downed by a bastion and helped by some randos. We were pinned in some random building's kitchen fighting the bastion, and in looting the kitchen cabinets I found a vertical grip 3 blueprint. It's THAT random. No event or nothing.
