Anything? Yes. It totally depends on which aspects you would like to see. I'd say the tone is still very much RGG and not like that of GoT. I can't think of a way Ishin may compare to RDR, though. I think these are very different games in the majority of their main features.
tl;dr: What are you looking for?

Cool Samurai games, with lots of stuff to do and i have no problems with them being a bit silly

Yeah, that would probably work. I think that the activities in Ishin are less silly and way more timid than what you'd find in other RGG games, but they are entertaining. And as always, there is plenty to do, especially for completionists. Some of the activities might get boring after a while, but there barely is any game that can keep a mini-game interesting after the 100th time. I think that most of the activities pertain to "samurai stuff". There is no Seppuku minigame, though.

very much this :)

what its not, is a short replayable game with lots of endings and possibilities where every choice matters. Everything else though? I'd say if you like Way of the Samurai you'll like Like a dragon Ishin.

the funny thing is this literally popped into my head 2 days ago while i was playing and i was like "Man, really wish this game had levels of customization like way of the samurai" then i got the big sad

It's 100% worth playing but let's be honest nothing will be as great as way of the samurai
I would honestly love to see a collaboration between the folks that did Way of the samurai 4 and these people I feel like that would be an extremely immersive world
Really is a shame that there are no other games that let you customize your weapons to the extent that Way of the samurai did
