Backpack expansion missing

I saw on someone's video there's a backpack expansion however when I went to the location in the video it wasn't there. Does anyone know where to find the upgrade? my pockets are getting to full!

I have the same problem. Seen 2 diffrent youtuber pick it up at the same location. Its not there in my game.

I have same issue. Went to exact location and it's not there, and these are recent videos from youtubers playing the same game.

I'm done with the content. so i got the tool to find loot chests i might have missed. it shows a dot when i'm near, ... but nothing...

I found it on the island in the NW that you can reach with the second ship upgrade.
There are 2 caves, it was in the cave higher up, I almost missed it because it was around the corner and blended in with the cave wall.

Was this the location from the videos?

@Tristanius, yeah, that's the cave videos show where it's at, but it's not there for me. Maybe it's a bug, I dunno. So frustrating!

I second this - a backpack upgrade at some point would be appreciated.

Not having one also causes issues. Especially with how little items stack, and how little they stack if they do stack (16? seriously?).

Hmm, what problems ? As i am pretty sure i don't get any of these quick patches.

It is also really strange that the backpack is its own panel when interacting with machines, i already thaught it destroyed a bunch of items.

Get the mod ;) I just hope the power mod comes soon, so bored of covering my island in solar panel and wind turbines.

Also, there are TWO backpack upgrades in the game, once they are back.

It isn't disabled on Xbox, and now I can't use any chest nor machines. Hope you can fix it soon, I really enjoyed the game till I ran into the bug.
