Obligatory "Is this game any fun" question
It's on Humble sale, so yeah, it's time for this question.
I don't care about Deathspank.

I find it to be the second most boring game ever made.

It's a bit slow, if you're not a fan of the Penny Arcade style, I'd say pass on the episode 2, the $ is worth the trial honestly.

Ok, kk.

It really depends on your style. The thing is, it is, as people say, a bit slow, but if you happen to like point and click adventures, rather humorous dialogue, cartoonish comic-styled art and a sometimes frantic RPG combat system, then this is a great game for you. Plus, the story isn't half bad either!

Ok guys. Thanks for the answers.

It's okay, but given the number of great games available on Steam, I wish I hadn't bought it.

I'm also finding that the interface to be really poor. The response when you click on icons during combat is extremely slow, making combat more of a chore than fun.

I wish I could return it.

Answering this question is difficult. The game mechanics are only ok and the minigames suck hard. The story is fun and the art is great if you like the style. However, having said that, I've just beaten episode one and I can't help but feel more satified with this game when a lot of games that I know were technically better in every catagory. I keep trying to put my finger on why I enjoyed it so much, but I can only surmise that the whole is better then the sum of it's parts. It has a great narrative arc and the beginning and ending of the game were quite memorable. Also, like Portal, it doesn't try to overstay it's welcome. It's short, but it doesn't really drag out its runtime.

So even though it isn't good, it was fun and I really enjoyed it. I hope that helps.
