WHITE SCREEN when launching the game

For any sort of issue in starting up the game that doesn't involve save data, please swap to the new-engine branch on Steam, as these crashes are one of the many reasons why we started to develop the new engine in the first place, since we don't have full control over their cause in the old engine.

Before you switch to the new-engine branch please make sure you keep a backup of your "SaveData" before switching branches.

To keep a backup of your current save data on Steam, copy your "SaveData" file from here: <STEAM_INSTALL_DIRECTORY>\userdata<YOUR_STEAM_USER_ID>\1794680\remote\SaveData

To switch to the new-engine branch:

1) Right click on Vampire Survivors
2) Select "Properties" and then "Betas”
3) Click on the drop down list to select "new-engine"

The new engine will be the new standard from August 17th, but in the meantime it's still a good idea to swap over.

With the new engine, now available to everyone, there shouldn't be anymore White Screen issues! Please contact support if something is still off! :)
