view direction suddenly turns 180 degrees
when I stand an turn my head or the whole body, the view direction suddenly changes by 180 degrees. If I turn my head back or further the view dirction is normal again.

played on pimax 8K+ & vive controllers.

Devs please change Pose source to 'Head' in your XR Tracked Pose driver. This problem will happen on a Reverb G2 as well because of canted screens. See this link for details:

I didn't know that the Reverb G2 has canted displays, but I know that the index does have them. So the index should actually have this problem too...
The Index has, but by default it is using parallel projections so it doesn't cause any problems. Reverb is canted by a tiny 0.2 degrees which is enough to cause this bug.

Hi! there is a change in a option on the last unity versions that produce the image changes the point of view when you rotate your head.

It is easy to understand wacthing a video:

The problems is about a option that it is on by default in this last unity versions and must be change to can see correctly, and doesn't affect others hmds

I don't know exactly what it is beacuse i am not a dev but here someone put the solution aparently:

"You should have a component on your camera for pose tracking (tracked pose driver in my case) with a field for the Pose Source, which is defaulted to Center Eye - HMD Reference. Switching that to Head works. "

In VTOL VR, that works by unity too, it was the same problem when the dev updated the engine. I asked to him if he can solved the problem with the same previous comments and he answered me: "no problem! It was a two-click fix"

+ very annoying both on g2 and pimax,very quick easy fix too that doesnt affect any other headset,♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unity with their refence hmd pose bs

To the devs: just compile the game without the bad reference dont make us do this
