Will it be possible to revert back to old textures? New ones look really good, but having an option would be also great

perfection takes time, cook it up for as long as you need it, but i do agree that having a "legacy visuals" and "modern visuals" would be cool. i like the new scrolls but i enjoy a lot more the classy feeling of PD.

heavy agree. i love the new art for potions, scrolls etc but its gonna be hard do get used to them so i think i wanna keep using og sprites.

I do not generally put in toggles to revert changes made by updates, and this is no exception. Shattered has been changed a lot over the years, and in particular every time there's a significant visual adjustment I get loads requests to put in a toggle to keep it unchanged. Ultimately I think it's much better to take in feedback, make adjustments where it makes sense, and then make the change for everyone so that people can get used to it and move forward.
It has been awesome to see the development of this over the years, and I am always excited to play with the new updates!
gonna have a lot fun with the new enchants. New dungeon changes are great too. makes it look more like an actual place with purpose. It'll be weird getting used to the new sprites but they definitely look way better and I'm sure once I'm used to them it'll be hard to go back to the old ones.
I do think this looks better but I'm worried about visual clutter/confusion. One of the historical strengths of PD is how 'readable' the map is, with consistent and clear visuals for each tile type. I really like the changes overall but the troughs in the garden and the shelves in the larder/arsenal look confusing; I can't tell at a glance whether they're pathable or not. I assume so because we see items sitting on some but it's a visual choice I'd want to consider carefully. Similarly, the teal carpet in the honey room looks way too much like water; I would suggest a different color there.

Final thought, I don't know how common this is but I always play with the visual grid set to high; it would be nice to sometimes see the new look with that setting, which makes controlling the game a lot easier.
