Trees and shrubs grow through walls and floors, when you attempt to cut them down you destroy the corresponding walls and floors.

Pretty well makes base building a mute point. I think this one has a lot of potential but I'm going to have to hold off until this and a lot of other issue have time to be baked out. (Yes, I'm aware it's early access but to use a steak reference this one is still moo'ing)
