Played this for nostalgia, noticed the problems.

I used to play this game ages ago not long after it first came out and nobody knew about the sequel. It was pretty fun back then when there were a lot more players and the fights were really chaotic.

Yesterday I installed it again and the nostalgia turned into disappointment. First of all this game is now played by a really small community of players who are VERY good at the game, know every exploit and cheapest tactic and use them as efficiently as possible to beat you. They also tend to stack the same team and win in a few minutes.

If you guys want this game to stay alive then I'd recommend STOP teamstacking, give each team a fair chance at winning or else you're just deterring new players.

Another huge issue I noticed is the animations. The animations are really bad and timed awkwardly. By time you see someone preparing to swing the attack has already hit you, it's very difficult to tell what an opponent is about to do. And if you try to block them then good luck, even if you time your blocks perfectly they don't seem to do anything most of the time. Enemies also seem to hit you from a mile away. You could blame this on the engine but Pirates, Vikings and Knights II is on the same engine and blocking is great in that game.

This was a nice trip back to the past but this game has aged terribly. But I understand why people might still play it, they don't have much money or there computers are old so they can't play the latest games. A lot of the players I saw were from less wealthy countries so this makes sense to me.

Did you play on a US server? I know a lot of times my guys will do stuff like that, if it's turning players off to the game I can always make a point to stop it. The game is a decade old. There's not many people that stay around playing it that arent very skilled
