Umm it's not, the first link shows 22.44 euros, the and 2nd link shows 19.99 USD..... I don't see what you're trying to get at here... That is not a sale price. The sale price is 8.99 USD from gamestop. So quit trolling and quit spreading misinformation, thanks. And yes you DO need Origin to download and install the games.

Yes - u can play offline. Origin is ultimately just a tedious launcher, people over-hate on it just because its cool to hate EA. It isn't THAT bad... Sure, many argue it's inferior to STEAM, but it gets overblown.

You don't even need it for these games... All you need is the key, which you then activate in Origin. I uninstalled the GS app right after I got the keys.

Amazon has had it on sale in the past (and not just .03 off) as had GameStop. The Steam Sale on C&C titles last week was no great shakes at all. I have bought many a game over to get rid of DVDs and CDs and even to get some digital ones under Steam but sorry, I will use Origin if I need to. Rather have Steam but cost is cost regardless, especially with that much of a disparity.
