Mirror's Edge crashing

From the first time, right after purchasing the game, I couldn't play it. Every attempt of launching the game ended with crash notification. I asked my friends and it seems that problem only occurs on my PC. What can I do?

PC info:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
Processor: Intel Core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30 GHz
If any other info is needed to solve the problem, I'll try to put it here.

Something like "hl2.exe" window when TF2 crashes. It's almost the same.

same problem here : when i try to start it i get error message : miirors edge has stopped working
also running win7 64bit & intel i5

nvm found the solution on the next page of threads : you need to correct the resolution in the ini-file

I'm having a similar issue. I load the game, the image loads. Then it crashes my entire computer.
