Crysis 1: Failed to contact key server
When I click on play button in the game library the game crashes and says "Failed to contact key server". I clicked on CD Key button in the Steam library and I get the same result. Someone needs to fix this and contacting steam support is like contacting the President of the United States.

ME TO, AFTER INSTALLING CRYSIS FOR THE FIRST TIME, WHEN I TRY TO PLAY IT SAYS "FAILED TO CONTACT KEY SERVER"

WHEN WILL MORE KEYS BE AVAILABLE FOR OUR GAME ON STEAM ?

Same here it is doing that to alot of people i might try downloading crysis warhead though.

i have the same problem too. its very hard when players buy games for money, and the steam support cant say to the buyers that they dont have keys..we can buy, they have their money and we can wait, wait and wait, thats not cool thats kidding us

I too ran into this problem, as I just finished downloading Crysis. Indeed, the whole key situation is a bit ridiculous. I paid for the game and now I can't play because some Steam employees can't do their jobs properly?

Perhaps we will have to wait until there are new keys. But it`s ridiculous, because the game is not new and i think there are not many buyers at the moment.

Well, there was a sale for Crisis Maximum Edition, but it was around 1 week and half ago, they already had the time to get the keys from EA. Here's the funny part though: Maximum Edition includes Crysis Warhead, and on that the key is registering just fine.

I have the same issue. Pretty annoying when I want to play the game I bought.

I bought the Maximum Edition in the last weekend sale and Warhead works and contacts with the key server.
I bought newer games in other sales and i had had never any key problems until now with crysis.

I tried to Play again and now it works with crysis too. Just some patience with steam.
