The story writing is really great and every character is built with depth.
BUT I would've enjoyed more actual game play than going through multiple cut scenes. Felt a bit like an adventure / walking simulator at times.

Still everything is very well done and absolutely lovely!
Graphics, Music, Controls, all superb!

This game is amazing! The story is about 10-12 hours of playtime. The story is great and there are plenty of achievements that are not impossible to get. You could get all the achievements in about two playthroughs. The ending is great very well planned out. The art style is great. The only thing is default controls are the arrow key s so I would recommend changing those.

Well made 2D puzzle platformer.

Pro:

Good retro graphics/effects.
Very fluent scrolling.
Good music.
Nice gags.

Contra:
Annoying dialogue sounds.
Sometimes too long irrelevant dialogues.
Sometimes a little bit too repetitive.

Get it on a sale if you are not sure.

I liked this game a lot. Every chapter had a new hook and mechanics and made it an overall phenomenal game. Beautifully written, gorgeous ascetics. The puzzles, while not insanely difficult, were always fun to do and I never found myself feeling like I wanted to take a break for the game. I do not know what the future of this game is, but would love to see a sequel eventually.

Great game. Last chapter is more of an interactive 20 minute cut-scene. 4/5 stars.

This game was made for players who like linear visual novels and puzzle-platformers BOTH. From the reviews, some players find the game tedious if they dislike one or the other genre, especially since it is very heavy on the story/novel component. I like both up to a point, so I found this game entertaining to read and to play. The puzzles are not especially challenging, but that kept them from becoming frustrating or slowing down the story, but they do provide interactivity that is more fun than just watching an anime version. It's pretty short considering its base price, but unlike others it doesn't overstay its welcome.

The story seems to leave a good bit of loose ends lying around, such as NPCs with incomplete implied backstories, and a main backstory that's partially explained and partially not. For some reason, all of the parallel worlds of the "multiverse" are post-apocalyptic and full of death, misery and horror (maybe so we'll appreciate the world we have?). I'm not sure why the main character is a child; in old-school Nintendo games that was the case because of the target audience, but this game is definitely not targeted to children.

Overall, it was enjoyable, moreso than other dimension-flipping puzzle games, and I got it during a huge sale, so under that condition I can recommend it.

Never mind there was a dog I could pet BUT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PET THE FIRST ONE THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THE FIRST ONE
