I'm guessing they'll abandon it after the first few updates like they did with this one, and with TA.

Ta sucks bro, they wont abandon GA 2 because GA has being their best game and in my opinion is the best MMO i have ever played, its so perfect that people that already have everything in the game, still coming online just to play like if it were counter strike, you gain nothing but fun, and thats why its so awesome. The problem with GA 2 is that may be they wont have pve system, not even the special ops system and that REALLY SUCKS. They will focus on PvP and no one has already tell if they will focus on AvA to. The thing is that If there are no pve (not the open world, just the special ops or raids) and AvA in the game or in future updates...ITS GONNA BE A S****. =/ lets wait and see what happends

If it was their best game, than why did they completely stop updates and announcements(even contradicting to what they promised) after TA came out?

I won't pick up GA just for the specific reason I don't want to buy another game that will just be abandoned.

I feel like all HiRez wants are money-grabbers. Make GA go F2P after many people paid for it, stop updates, make TA (IMO, terrible recreation of a tribes game) Grabbed money, abandoned that too. This company has no dedication to a game and I feel like they just want short-term profits.

Don't be so cynical (and ungrateful), guys. Hi-Rez is one of the few gaming companies that actually cares about their games, and understands how to make them fun. Seriously, beyond the initial 15€ price tag, were you ever forced to pay money towards this game? I payed 15€ only and got 950 hours of the most fun I've ever had in any video game. I'd say that's value for money. Global Agenda was Hi-Rez's FIRST game. To make a game this complex, skill-based, fun, balanced and replayable as their first project is nothing short of phenomenal. Hi-Rez makes mistakes like any company, but they've earned the benefit of the doubt. Save your hate and money-grubbing accusations for the game publishers that are truly trying to destroy good, quality games, like EA.

No, they dont care about their games. thats why every game they makes dies. because they stop updating/bugfixing/caring.

want a company that cares about its game? CCP games (EVE Online, Dust 514 [ps3 only], and soon World of Darkness), thats what a company that cares about their games and players looks like. constant updates, multiple expansions, and DEVs themselves repeatedly stating that no matter how many games they amke or how long theya re out, they will never stop updating or close down a game/server unless they go out of business.

i played GA for so long, i remember back when it went F2P, and i remember logging in every day, to see the constant decline in content and players over weeks and months, it was depressing. HiRez just wanst the P2W/pay-to-quickadvance cash-grab, then once they have a stabilized playerbase (meaning membership isnt inceasing very much, its more or less an established community) they ditch the game to work on the next cash-grab, since pouring money into the previous game wont make them as much money anymore.

this is how most game companies operate, this is why you get a Call-od-Duty+4expacs then the next call of duty comes out, HiRez is just like EA and Activision, grab the money and run.


you know how easy it would have been to revive Global Agenda? to put out a major expansion? reoding parts of the game isnt an issue, plenty of games do that to rewrite broken mechanics for new ones, they are amking GA2 because that way, everyone will have to rebuy their "elite" status and cash-shop gear to get back to max level, its all about profit.
