Are you running other stuff in the background? Facebook? 30 tabs of YouTube videos?
also i can see with rivatuner overlay my gpu basically clocks everything down in that short stutter which is not longer than about 500 milliseconds
power usage also goes down from 170 watt to 100 in those 500 milliseconds and then goes back up to 170 watt again
so i dont think its shader compilation
EDIT: launching it in dx12 doesnt change anything
using a modified engine.ini with these commands doesnt change anything either
i confirmed that they work and get changed by using a console injector and checking them

lmao ok my desperate last resort is from here https://new.reddit.com/r/Engineini/comments/13s1qtc/unreal_engine_45_universal_stutter_fix/
using the UE4/5 Stutter Fix | Less Stutters - Good Graphics engine.ini commands
they seem to SHORTEN the stutter but not fully fixing them
literally tried every idea i had now im out of ideas no clue what is causing the stutters/freezes
-Ryzen 5 5600x
-16GB DDR4 3200 MHZ
-RTX 3060TI
Game is installed on an M2 1TB drive
Game runs at 60 FPS 1080p and max graphics without any issue except the jutters.
I tried to put the game at the lowest graphics settings, still in 1080p and with DLSS on Ultra Performance and the jutters still happen at the exact same frequencies.
That's why i think it could be an AMD cpu issue, except if someone with and Intel CPU experience them as well
-32GB DDR4 3200 MHZ
-RTX 4060
-M2 SSD
stutters/freezes every 3-4 seconds too...
32GB DDR4 3200 MHZ
RTX 2080
M2 SSD
same issue, stutters every 3-4 secs, you can even hear your pc go quite for a second while it stutters, then rev up again
We're investigating the reports of stuttering and have yet to find a cause, but rest assured that we are working on it. If you wouldn't mind, it would help us a ton if you could send a bug report with the in-game feedback tool as that data will help us triangulate the issue.
The good news is, it can be fixed. I have seen every game that had this issue get fixed... eventually.
That was not present on the demo.
Stutter started immediately when I started playing. Intel CPU, 3080.
The problem is even in the main menu after loading. The butterflies stutter every 5 seconds for a millisecond or so.
Doubt this is network released because even before logging on on the 'press key to start', the animations stutter.
Demo doesn't have this problem.
