Really refreshing these days to get updates for something and getting excited for the new stuff instead of starting to feel resentment because everything gets just worse with updates like with so much other software.

my steam os dual booting just disappeared after this update. Anyone else have same problem?

Note: If you are using pacman, add either "-rel" or "-main" to names of repositories in the /etc/pacman.conf to be able to continue to use it (because some packages may not like being systemd-sysext extensions, or they have plenty of additional dependencies - and of course rebuild the system extensions with new OS version, too).

they broke the sd card path they need change back not everyone going be happy manual edit this

Important! SD CARD USERS:

SteamOS 3.4 has just released to stable by Valve. After you install it - they have changed the path for the SD Card mount.

This means - for `example /run/media/mmcblk0p1 `will become `/run/media/deck/mmcblk0p1 `which breaks the path to games and any nonsteam games you may have added to your library from the SD card.

edit: Even better news; the SteamOS 3.4.2 update has hardware en- and decoding enabled again!
I tested 3.4 and 3.4.2, in 3.4 it was still disabled.

The workaround still works, for now, but the script I made broke in this update.

This update broke the SD card path! People apparently can´t install to SD cards anymore, and it broke paths to games.

DO NOT UPDATE! THIS BREAKS EMUDECK AND MAY BREAK YOUR ABILITY TO PLAY SD GAMES.
This update is broken and they changed the SD path for no reason. NONSTEAM GAMES ON THE SD WILL NEED TO BE RECONFIGURED
