Change default Plasma mode to Wayland from X11?
Title is pretty self-explanatory, is there any way to make Gaming Mode launch `startplasma-wayland` instead of `startplasma-x11`?

Sounds good, I tried jerry rigging the startup config to run wayland, it worked fine until I rebooted. Gotta say tho, looking forward to full Wayland support as the window effects than can be achieved with it are really nice.

So, funny story. I fully reimaged my steam deck and now Plasma uses Wayland??? Weird but I'll take it cuz now I can use all these funk window effects

The effects work on X11, too. Compiz was from around 2006, before Wayland was a thing.

echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
in Konsole should tell you which you're using, I think.
