Writing a review to do what I can to support it. I've never played anything quite like this and yet at the same time it calls back to all my favorite logic puzzle computer games as a kid. I was charmed by every character. I found out afterward that this game took inspiration from Moon RPG which... makes a lot of sense, and cements that I really need to play that game too. Anyway. PLAY THIS GAME

Good game

I dig the art style and vibe of this game. Overall it's pretty chill. The challenges and puzzles are simple enough that they reminded me of the puzzles found in the Zelda series. Only the third version of the squatting minigame gave me a bit of trouble, but it was still a reasonable challenge.

The main gameplay loop involves helping mons with their problems and managing your limited energy and money. Most mons will give you an ability once you help them, which separates 24 Killers from a game like Chulip. The game counts the days as they pass, but players shouldn't feel pressured to hurry.

The writing is funny and charming. There isn't much of it, but what's there is pretty solid. Sometimes less is more, y'know?

I played the entire game on a Steam Deck in desktop mode. I only encountered a performance dip once after playing for two hours straight. Saving and restarting the game fixed the slowdown.

Sometimes I didn't know what to do next, but that could have been solved by taking a few notes. The game doesn't keep track of quests for you. That's not a critique, just an observation.

Recommended for folks who like the game's style and are hoping for a fairly relaxed experience.
