I'd keep them, even copy them somewhere else now before they get removed in a patch. Could be very useful for modding etc if they are really debug PDBs.

Are the timestamps the same as the executable and DLLs? Could mean that the game is a debug build which would be less performant

I saw suggestions to download pdb files separately, which means they are not very important for an already compiled program, only for debugging
