MyTeam Ban Wave?

It appears that there have been a few people banned in MyTeam but are unsure why. Please use this thread to discuss the issue.

What was the last thing you did before the ban?
How much MT did you have before the ban?
What's the error message you are seeing?
Have you sent in a ticket yet? If so, when did you send it and what is the number?
If you are waiting for a response, is it to your initial ticket or to a replay you made? Or has the ticket been escalated?

UPDATE: It appears some people have been unbanned, but then banned again when entering MyTeam. This suggests the initial bans were temporary, but the trigger hasn't been found/fixed. For now, I would suggest sticking to Play Now and MyLeague until the issue is properly solved...

Getting banned for being No Money Spent on MyTeam?

Today, after winning 10 Draft Mode games and getting Glenn Robinson, I got banned out of thin air.

I have not opened a single pack, nor bought VC this year, because I already payed for the game, I will not spend more on it.

Not to brag, but I have won 95% of online games I played this year on MyTeam, won two times 10 Draft Mode games, all Limited games and in TTO I only got one loss.

I have NEVER bought MT or VC out from 3rd parties or glitched the game in any way possible, haven't used any tools to crash games or anything similar, yet got banned.

My question is, would 2K be so dishonorable and ban great No Money Spent players, because they are ruining experience for those spoiled kids, who spent hundreds on packs and still lose?

I don't have words to express my frustration, I have contacted 2K support, but I doubt that I will get unbanned and seeing all of these MT farmers buying gold players for 2M MT and getting away with it really grinds my gear.

I saw few other people posting being banned out of thin air and this being a case in 2K21 as well, but what was your experience? Have they unbanned you? What was their explanation?

Banned Account .... Need help !

Hi ,
Last time i played was yesterday and everything was fine, I wake up this morning and i find out that my account is banned with the message " This user account has been banned due to a violation of our terms of service. Please contact customer service if you feel this was done in error "

I don't know what i could've violated , i havent even started my career yet , only the Myteam mode , bought a couple of packs and started playing the modes and challenges .
Is there a way to fix it or get a full reimbursement for the game and for the VC i've purchased to by the packs ?

Its very frustrating and i'm really starting to get fed up with 2k .
I've already skipped last years game since all my buddies decided not to buy any other products from 2k and i'm borderline of doing the same and looking into legal action against them.

Did anybody else experience the same thing and how you've fixed it ?

Same here, got banned out of the blue. Try filling in 2K support form, I still have not received any information from them, but I doubt that they will unban me.

Extremely frustrating, have little to no hope that support will solve the issue...

yeah i got randomly banned also lol played MyTeam match after the match got banned for no reason i sent in tickets

I had like 55K MT, lol, haven't been active in Auction house, as current prices are enormously high. Played Draft, Domination, TT for rewards and tokens, Limited on weekends, that's it. I have opened a ticket, still no response, don't know if people normally get unbanned.

I have nba 2k on steam since 2015. I never used cheats, yes I'm bad but I only play for fun and last night they banned me too.
I hope it is a fail and they solve this :(

got banned too... bought game today 75th anniversay... the expensive one... in myteam mode just only opened all cards and sell players that I don't want, I didn't play any single game... got banned without any reason... never did any cheat...

Hello, I bought the same version and bought multiple VC packs. Like you, I sold players below level 80 and was preparing my teams when I got the ban message. Absolutely SHAME of them! I sent a ticket to customer service, I'm waiting for their response, but I'm already heating up very, very strongly.

same stuff here lol. won 1o draft games, packed pd and received a ban. contacted the 2k help, but still hasn't received an answer. Thank god I'm not hte only one with this issue.

Are there risks of being banned if we quote the response from 2k support? Because there I think, we can expect anything with these thieves !
Here is my response to their twisted response: "Positive gaming experience ?? Hahaha, I spent more than 150 € including the purchase of the 75th anniversary version and I get banned for that ???
So if I understood your delusion correctly, I am not allowed to legally pay for a game plus VC packs on the game via steam? Because other than that, I did absolutely nothing !!
I am reassured to see that I am not the only one to be robbed (see attachment).

-I think I had around 21 or 22k MT points including 10k MT points offered in the 75th anniversary version.
-Yes, I sent a ticket. They told me they needed more information to find out if I could appeal their decision. AMAZING, I've never seen this in my life! We need to appeal because you are legally paying for a game and VC packs. WOW!
