If Valve catches you using a VPN on Steam you'll get your account banned and lose access to everything. Steam can't accept or send payments to Russia because sanctions. There's no realistic way around it.

Hitler I mean Putin is ruining two countries and with the rate the Ruble is crashing the Russian Citizen won't have disposable cash to buy games. With all the outside media blocked from Russia I doubt they'll ever understand what they are doing until Putin is gone. With all the sanctions on Russia they are about to go back to life under the Soviet Union. I'm sure a 50 year can explain to their youth what it is like to not have the option to buy western products.

Honestly, watching the Russian army which is showing the world how bad it is and the mass murdering of citizens, I say Good riddance. They are not European and showing the world they are animals. They are not like us.

Please educate yourself and watch other sources than Putin's 9 o' clock news. Ukraine wasn't a model democracy but that doesn't give Putin the right to full scale invade it. The net result may be that your neighbors will dislike Russians for the coming decades as many east European people do.

On a historical grand scale it also pity. Russia used to be part of the European culture for centuries.

I wouldn't claim I'm form Rissia either as the world watches this invasion. Putin can call it whatever he wants to justify an invasion and his reasoning changes as his army fails. Whatever intelligence Putin received that told him the country will see the Russian army as saviors was so flawed I'm sure that guy is now dead.
