Dome Keeper
Crackling of Audio while playing the demo using headphones
Unsure if anyone else is getting this but running the demo produces an ear screeching crackling that makes playing with headphones impossible. When I rout output to my laptop speakers instead of my headphones the crackling is gone.

Hm, i'm not sure what the cause of that is. My headphones have two audio devices, one for chat and one for game. The game one is stereo (2 channels), and the chat one is mono (1 channel). The chat one also has the crackling and distortion, while the game one is fine.
I assume your headphones sound fine in other games, right? Can you say if they are mono, having one channel as output? You should see that in the Sound settings, on the details of the device like this: https://imgur.com/a/cQdZ06c

Sorry for the late reply, was at work. My headphone format is: 1 channel, 16 bit, 48000hz.
I only have the option to change the HZ, with the crackling still being present no matter which option.

Not late at all, all good. I'm investigating the issue, thank you for confirming the 1 channel - so we know at least when it's happening.

I have the same issue as well, same exact setup (1 channel, 16 bit, 48000hz) Which is a shame because I really wanted to try this demo but is unplayable with the current audio.

Not sure this helps, but with other games where this happens, turning off audio enhancements for playback device fixed this issue. Would be good to know why this happens in the first place.

It turns out my headphones had an option to switch to 2 channel audio; and that fixed it.
