Literally nothing.
it's not art
False
literally true
AI can't create, only copy and mimic
it's not art
How you use it is your decision, but art is art. Disliking the process does not qualify you to claim it would not be art.
The difference from us to AI is emotion, thought and soul. A rare percentage of artists are able to channel that into their work.
And if some people create something from the bottom of their existence, but you don't see, does it mean it isn't art? And if some AI-generated images evoke feelings and inspire you, does it mean it is art?
Art is what we make of it.
Rethorical question: is a brush art?
AI alone is a tool. Like a brush, a canvas, an instrument, etc...without any input it is a mere thought of an idea. A distant feeling. Desire. Potential. Yet again: it is what we make of it. If we make something.
When a person handles the AI-generation well, he can make art. Saying it is, or it isn't would be rather futile. For some it is. For some it isn't.
Everyone gets to choose. Nobody is right. That's the beauty of it.
ai "art" is art. as art is subjective.
is there a ethical problem when using ai generated pictures and selling it?
yes as it's built on stolen artwork without the consent of the artists.
if it's true and they have that in the game not sure if i want to buy it from my problem with the ethics of ai art. have a fantastic day you all <3
Possibly legal issues I would imagine. I thought they passed a law where AI art wasn't allowed to be copyrighted/sold or whatever. Granted, that law was for the art piece on its own, not sure how that works when it's a tiny piece of a larger project such as this.
People have been called an artist for doing much less.
