Two down, NG++ NP is going to be be a huge ball buster.
You just need to learn the boss combos and when to dodge also parry the prick in phase 2 on top of that you can stagger the guy with high enough dmg,
Phase 1 is a easy i learned it fairly quick to the point of taking zero dmg or 1 hit i mean i could drop him to 30% in like 30 sec :D , phase 2 is more challenging but nothing crazy in my opinion.
Souls veteran eh? Nope.
i'm actually in the swamp area (just beat the swamp boss ) and malenia is much more fair than any boss in this game , she don't have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ movement animation and umpredictable attack (on the first try....) attack like all boss in this game , grab are also bad in this game seriously i'm getting bored to be hurt by attack because the movement animation of the boss was completely umpredictable with simple observation many time it's the false recovery of the boss/ monster or animation who are weird or a trap , it's cheap design to add difficulty and i really think than animation are badly design from a gameplay perspective
What the hell are you even talking about. You have attack animations and sequences in this game as in any other "souls" title - that you have to master. And no better or worse parry timing training.
no you have attack and animation than you need to see and fall for it before even trying to master , i already beat most ds trilogy boss in ng +7 SL1 and even sekiro many time and dying 300-500 time in some boss fight were not as frustating as dying three time in lie of P boss like the swamp boss (who is not the only one ) and i have already say why . Another exemple who happen when i was playing recently in the krat central station i stunned some elite monster but it was a trap because the monster was able to unleash some last ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ umpredictable attack when he was on the ground and in his stunned position and i didn't even talk about monster who make you think than you can backstab them before their turn around and snap attack you
Also, many later enemies/bosses have extra-after stagger attack.
Ahh, souls "veteran". Your alleged "veteranism" in other souls games is irrelevant, the only thing it will bring is eye-rolling.
oh thank you for the warning i thought the second black rabbit brotherhood fight is fromsoftware level of stupid but if a next stupid fight comes after that i guess i uninstall the game and ♥♥♥♥ it because im sick of lazy toxic boss desigen ala fromsoftware ♥♥♥♥. game startet so good but it lost a lot of charme since a certain point and you can feel how the devs just tried to push playtime with unfair mechanics and tricks like fromsoftware does all the time
and i dont care who the dev-team is , if you make a boss that people are beating while they question their life decisions and sitting in front of their pc after the boss whispering "what a stupid boss ,what a stupid boss , what a stupid boss , what a stupid boss" for 5 minutes only to quit the game and not interessted anymore to see whats comeing next while their wish that someone cut off your power so you lose ALL DATA from you next game or dlc or what ever you try to do and also wish you never get back the data at all - you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the boss !
not that i did that but it could happen ! ok the wish was real and i still hope you will lose all your data ! because THIS boss fight is just a lazy "♥♥♥♥ YOU PLAYER"
As for the level design, I'd say that the only frustrating area is the Arche Abbey (final level), but mostly on NG+. As for the bosses, all 3 final bosses are great imo. Laxasia and Manus are a cakewalk on NG, but really tough on NG+. Took me an hour to kill each of them. Nameless Puppet was surprisingly easier though. Got him on like 6th try. And I'm a really bad player who barely gets a perfect guard.
IMO, Arche Abbey is one of the best maps in recent games.
Laxasia / Manus / Puppet - and any other boss for that matter - are very easy in ng+/ng+2 (unless you are doing some challenge run) including v.1.1.2.0. The stat creep on players' stats/weapons/organs is just too strong and they seriously undertuned the enemies.
this happened to me when i fought him in ng+ (didnt have the chance on normal). farm ergo and OVERLEVEL YOUR VITALITY (also use the defense amulet), eventually you will withstand more hits from him and this will give you more time to actually learn his stuff and eventually beat him. good luck! when i first beat him i transfered like 15 extra levels to my vitality and i was able to beat like 4 try (after 3 hours of strugling i diceded to just farm some ergo to level up)
