weapon DAMAGE list
for the life of me, i CAN'T find ANYTHING online about how much damage each weapon does. only the stuff that you can find out from two seconds of playing the game, ie level of unlock and cost to build. it would be nice if the game told me how much DAMAGE each weapon did BEFORE i unlocked it, or if ONE SINGLE ARTICLE followed my google prompt of "how much DAMAGE does each weapon do?"

i do not want to hear "use your pals, they do more" yes, i know, THAT is not what i'm trying to find out. so if anyone can just give me a complete list of how much DAMAGE each weapon does (base damage i know that attack stat has an effect), that would be greatly appreciated.

more appreciated would be is if the developers just included damage as part of the info you see when you mouse over a locked blueprint.

Its not just attack stat that does a difference....also the pal you are fighting, weakspot damage, elemental damage etc....
So just knowing a weapons base dmg does nothing.

For example: I have a pistol with 562 Attack. On a Pal that is the same level as me, I do 35-50 damage shooting it. If I add elemental attack I do 80-90. If I hit a weakspot i do 235.

not talking about personal attack stat.

knowing the base damage allows you to plug it into the calculations of level and armor. it allows me to compare them to each other, and allows me to make a choice of spear or bat; the spear doesn't go toward the crosshair, should i use the bat instead? is the spear enough more damaging that it makes up for the awkward attack swing? you don't get to know until you spend level up points. points that as of now cannot be reset. i want to be able to compare each weapon to each other, not to pals.

does the higher tech pistol do more damage than the first pistol? it should, but it doesn't. had i known that, i wouldn't have wasted my currently unrefundable points.
this is a bit late but i am currently compiling information for weapons and armor, base and schematics. it's unfinished, but you're welcome to reference it.

Your player character deals way more damage than your pals.

I don't know the exact stats but:
Shotgun I think is the best gun in the game (although I haven't used the rocket launcher yet, can't be bothered making a non-legendary one). 1 shot can kill a non boss enemy. 5 shots can kill a level 49 boss. The bosses don't have time to react. (towers and legendary pals are only thing that can fight back)

Assault rifle is the long range weapon, I think it has lower dps and ammo is a lot more expensive but can be good if you can't fight in close range.

Rocket launcher is even more exepensive ammo, no idea about its dps.

Pistol I think is a smaller assault rifle basically.

Musket has very high damage but reload really slow, one of the biggest issues with it is that it gets hard to reload before the enemy attacks you so you either have to tank the damage or interrupt your reloading by dodging. (for this reason crossbow is basically better than musket, especially since you can get legendary recipe from lvl 23 boss)

Poison and fire arrows are great against bosses because they do % damage (although low, it ticks for ~45 on a legendary pal) and they don't always get the debuff, not sure why they sometimes get debuff and sometimes not.
