What is UNKO?
I'm setting up a server for some friends and I have a toggle to activate UNKO

I looked it up and it says UNKO is Unidentified Nocturnal Knock-Off, but I don't know what that means in terms of this game.

Anyone know?

Found something that I haven't confirmed but apparently it's related to whether your base Pals will continue to do their work duties even if their unconscious? Not sure if it's right, but its the only thing I've found so far.

It also has a drop limit tied to it set to 100 by default. So whatever UNKO is it also has drops that are limited to the world.

World drops are not the same as UNKO drops. I have a dedicated server and still haven't figure this out.

DropItemMaxNum_UNKO=100

Is there a possibility that it is Japanese? UNKO means ♥♥♥♥ in japanese. Possible unimplemented features that PAL do ♥♥♥♥.

if unko is feces in japan, maybe it's talking about pals dropping items in the ranch, perhaps while not spawned (no player in area) would make sense for servers to turn this off because you don't want 20 afk bases dropping hundreds of items while no one's around.

there is also DropItemMaxNum_UNKO so i'm doubling down on my theory that it's a way to limit ranches from dropping too many items.

Unko in Japanese meanst shi* ;)

Seeing as this game borrows a lot of elements from ARK and UNKO literally means poop, you can put 2 and 2 together from that, hopefully. It is likely a mechanic that wasn't fully implemented.

There are 2 items in the game's code Unko_L and Unko_S which are large and small piles of dung. So I'm assuming this mechanic was either scrapped or replaced with ranch drop mechanics.
