Q: What does Skirmish mode contain? [EDIT: June 18]
A: At release, you're able to play against AI, but not co-operatively with AI as allied team members.

Team up with your friends and learn the game at your own pace against various AI presets that represent Battlegroups you will face on the battlefield.

Do note that it is possible to create and play content that is very similar to Skirmish mode, in the games Scenario mode and/or by using the Scenario Editor to create missions. This includes being able to use your decks to play out these missions, and set up allies to support you, like you would in a Skirmish.

Q: How does multiplayer work?
A: You can play from 1vs1 up to 5vs5 in custom lobbies or play ranked 5vs5, which is the only mode that will contribute to your leaderboard progress.

Q: Can I play 1v1?
A: Yes, through custom lobbies or by preparing custom scenarios in the scenario editor.

Q: How long is the single player campaign?
A: It is 19 missions long, and you play as both the United States and Russia. It is a dynamic campaign, so you can decide the order in which you face certain missions.

Q: What is planned for after launch?
A: Our immediate plans will be to address all kinds of small issues that might emerge once the game is launched. Expect a prompt reaction.
There are a number of improvements and features (such as single player skirmish) that we couldn’t include at launch, so expect us to deliver more information on those shortly after launch.
We also have ambitious and long term plans for expanding the game with new factions, units, specializations and theaters. We will give you more information on that later this year.

Q: I have a technical problem with the game! Who can I reach out to?
A: Please post in the Tech support forum on Steam here.

Q: I think I saw a cheater! How do I report them?
A: We have an anti-cheat system in place, but in case you think you saw a cheater, you can report them with an in-game button that you can find first by displaying the player list during the match (top right corner), and then by clicking the /!\ button to open the report window.

Q: Will it be on Linux?
A: Not anytime soon, it’s not planned for the time being

Q: Will it be on Mac?
A: Not anytime soon, it’s not planned for the time being

Q: Will it be on GeForce Now?
A: Hopefully very soon!

Q: Where can I find people to play with?
A: The best place to look for people to play with is our official Discord channel[discord.gg].

Q: Will there be a preload option so I can download early?
A: Nope, sorry.

Q: Where are the game servers located?
A: We have a wide distribution of servers in many different parts of the world, and ideally it means that no matter where you are, you will be able to have a decent performance.

Q: Will there be a Map editor?
A: Right now the game has a Scenario editor, which allows you to craft your own scenarios on pre-existing maps. As for a Map editor, we’ll see. It’s not something that will be available in the near future.

Q: Does the game have Steam Workshop support?
A: Yes! Go check it out here.

Q: How moddable is the game?
A: We provide a very powerful scenario editor which will allow players to create multiplayer game modes, solo and cooperative missions, including dialogues and cut-scenes.

Q: How much optimisation has there been?
A: Quite a bit, but the truth is that optimisation work never ends. It will certainly be something that the developers will continue working on after launch as well.

Q: Can we share our battlegroups?
A: Nothing is stopping you! You can easily do so by finding your battlegroup files in the C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\SteelBalalaikaStudio\BrokenArrow\Decks folder. Naturally, if you want to import someone else’s battlegroups, you will have to copy their deck file and put it in the same folder.

Q: Are there clans?
A: We let players organize themselves the way they see fit. If they want to form clans, they will do so. Most likely the best place to find a clan will be on our Discord.

Q: Will it support DLSS? (it has FSR currently)
A: We don’t plan on doing that. DLSS is Nvidia only, while FRS, which we make use of, is for all GPUs. It was picked because it’s a technology which benefits everyone.

Q: Will there be spectator mode?
A: Not at launch, but we plan on adding it in the future.

Q: Will there be co-op mode in the campaign?
A: Not at launch, and it’s not something we can promise yet. There are competitive scenarios outside of the campaign, though, and players will be able to make more with the scenario editor.

Q: Why does my Steam say Vanguard Edition releases on the 19th - is this wrong?
A: It’s just the way Steam shows that kind of information. The standard edition will launch on the 19th, but the Vanguard will be released on the 16th.

Q: Will the game go on sale during the Summer Sale?
A: No. It wouldn’t be fair to people who bought it at full price just a couple of weeks before. It will be a while before we do any discount.

Q: Will the game have DRM?
A: No.

Q: Does the game's anti-cheat system operate on a kernel level?
A: No.

What's stopping you from putting DLSS together with FSR? DLSS is, for the most part, superior to FSR and I don't think it's fair to deprive players who use Nvidia

Still excited for the game, but that’s an L on no DLSS. DLSS has proven time and time again to be a better experience over FSR. I hope this changes.
Can I download the game in advance?
