In short - as long as the game is in EA it won't come on GOG because maintaining a game on different store takes up time and resources, something many indie developers doesn't have a lot of (many devs say the same thing actually).
It's AFTER the EA period that's in question whether or not it will. Most likely, at least the devs wants it, it just depends on GOG. Or rather, it did in the beginning. There's a thread on GOG if you want more background.
But yes, the game is DRM free already so it only depends on who you want the 30% share to go to; Steam now, or, wait until next year if it comes to GOG then, maybe.
