Bastion, surrounded on all sides broken

Every time I try to take this quest and get to the second dialogue prompt the game freezes and I have to alt f4 to get out. Any way of fixing this?

Same here. Reported this bug to THQ Nordic but no response from there. I wanted to start new game and rush to this quest to check if it change anything but I dont have patience for this. But if you have same problem I think that it is common bug need to be patched.

In Bastion, I had the same problem yesterday with the quest 'Surrounded on all Sides'. When clicking on the dialogue 'Lord Commander! How may I serve the Westguard?' my game freezes;

I just started a new game and grabbed the quest. But it worked fine for me.

Do you guys have any mods loaded? And what DLCs do you have enabled? And what main quest variant are you playing (Origins, random map, or both)?

The devs are on holiday, so I wouldn't expect a response for a little bit longer.

I'm an artificer, I play on a random map, and I have both dlc. Before the last patch, I had played on a normal map without the dlc, and I had no problems.

I started this play through before origins dropped. Demonology on a non random map.

Same here, also reported as bug but no response yet. In my case it's a random map playthrough from the Weaver's Realms update.

Same here! Game is accepting the quest, but does nothing anymore. The CPU usage is the same as ever and it is responsive because i can switch back to the dialogue before with LB and come back with RB, but nothing else works. Where did you report the bug?
