Steam Deck Compatibility Details

While developing Impaler, it was very important for us to meet all the requirements to become “Deck Verified” once the game is available. This is why Impaler has been tested significantly on the Steam Deck. We can already confirm that it runs smoothly and we hope it will give you a lot of fun on Valve’s handheld device.

Here are a few additional details on how we prepared Impaler to run on Steam Deck:

• The game has simple gamepad-friendly controls
  
• Controls are fully remappable via the Steam Input Configurator (accessible from settings)
  
• The game is balanced so that it can be completed on a gamepad
  
• Runs at a constant 60fps with no slowdowns or stuttering
  
• Small download size at under 400MB
  
• Loads in <10 seconds
  
• Gracefully handles the Deck’s configurable refresh rates
