Secret Area in the Maid's Room?
So I noticed while walking around that my metal detector was going off inside of the Maid's Chamber. Obviously, did my due diligence, looking around, but I couldn't find anything.

However, the more I actually looked, the more it seems like the back area, on which the picture is, can maybe open up? There's a slot in the wall that is a different colour and the room is much smaller than one would otherwise suspect.

I am going to try and draft an opening up to the back of the chambers, but have anyone experienced something like this, or is it a bug?

I don't think this is relevant, but at one point i drew the maids quarters without the goddess statue. I was surprised to find it missing and dont know what triggered that.
Stuff behind puzzles tends to not appear on the metal detector, but you can detect stuff in other rooms if the walls are close enough.

That is just lost and found.
It happens with other rooms at times too.

Oh absolutely, and I probably should have said - in this case it couldn't be.

I had my maid's quarter located in bottom left corner, with the thick section of the wall towards the front of the house.

I thought for the longest time it was in room b1, the room just to the right, but it stopped beeping every time I went too far away.
My guess is that spreading gold with the Office caused something to spawn in there? But that's a guess, could be a bug.

I'm sorry, I can't quite parse what you just told me.

Are you saying the goddess statuer would have turned up in the lost and found room if I had drafted that in the same run?

Did you also do wages? I think maid quarters is one of the stated rooms that gets wages.

Some items disappear from their location, and later pop up in the Lost & Found room. The Maid angel statue is one of the most noticeable ones, but I've also got a picture that used to be on the Office desk, and a plane model that I've no idea where it came from.

The model plane is most likely from the Attic.

Now that you mention it I have seen the model plane in lost and found too.

Right! Now YOU mention it I'm almost sure it used to be in the attic, too.

FTR, the Lost & Found also has a very interesting clue to a huge puzzle, and I've also got another mysterious clue I have not the first idea how to interpret.
I had the same today, the room was next to nothing and the gym which only had shoes and my metal detector went crazy at the wall behind that small closet, if I went into the gym it stopped, might be a bug or actually something.
You may be onto something, have you already hammered the Gym? If so then we'll look into it further and update accordingly. Cheers.

That is the weight room you mean I think, gym has no secrets as far as I know?
No, no, sorry for not being clear with that last statement. Not the lever in the wall in weight room but something else in Gym (I don't even think it's late game stuff it's something random I picked up in the Atelier.

I think a few people have gotten lost in detail. The word rosewary literally means to be wary of roses, and this is cemented with the equivocation of vines, rose could mean a wealth of things but I recommend you think of it in it's colouration (the entire game is premises on being wary of the colour red). Hence, red rooms are key to this weird puzzle. But I'm confused because Atelier is endgame so how are you getting hints into backdoor parts when it's hypothetically in a different realm of the game?!

I'm going to write a proper update post tomorrow with all of my workings because I do think I can offer some clarity and hopefully some salutary thoughts to this thread (I can't get into the Reddit and I'm too private to start screenshotting my PS5 play through 😅
