How to change linked Xbox account?

Context - I have two microsoft accounts, a Live-email and an Outlook-email. When I first played this game on Steam, I linked my Steam account to the Live-email. I recently reinstalled Windows, and now Forza asked me to link my Steam account again - and since I forgot which Microsoft account I used, I accidentally linked the Outlook account, but since it's making me start the game all over again, I'd like to change back to the Live account linking.

I deleted the link through the Xbox app, and linked the Live account again, but whenever I launch Forza now it still says "Welcome, (outlook account username", and when Steam overlay pops up, it only gives me option to link with the Outlook account again, or sign out of Steam and sign in with the correct Steam account.

Kinda ridiculous how they made it so that I can accidentally link with a wrong, different account than before, but I cannot unlink them anymore (without reinstalling Windows again?).

Anyone got any tips?

Solution if anyone has similar issue:

Clear all Xbox Live Credentials

Click the Start button in the lower left corner of Windows, type Credential Manager, and press Enter.
In Credential Manager, click on the "Windows Credentials" button.
Scroll down to Generic Credentials
Find all entries that start with "Xbl"
example "Xbl|Devicekey"
Select the expand button on the right of the entry
Select to "remove" the entries
Remove all entries that start with "Xbl"
Please note you may need to sign back into other applications due to this.
