Workound for steamdeck OLED fatal error

There's an issue with the game after the last patch, a bunch of people seem to have the issue, so I figured I'd start a new thread for it. I think I found a little workaround that works for this on my end. You need to add a launch option -

 %command% -dx12 

In steam - Launch Options field under Settings (Gear Icon on the game page) >> Properties >> General

This should be applicable to all of the games in the trilogy.

Does this game have controller support and work well with Steam Deck controls?

It's a Rockstar game, it's designed for gamepad, not keyboard, so it's always better on gamepad.
