Since Batman Arkham Knight this damn discussions of these Denuvo youth.
Yes we are all blind, please open our eyes Lardo.
The developers and publishers have made a decision. Over and out. Find a forum where people are still stubbornly sticking to the crap and keep trolling there.
THIS IS A DENUVO FREE ZONE. Get this into your head!
Now we can finally enjoy the game as it should be from the start. Go and buy Dead Stutter Space and enjoy your Denuvo there. What are you still b.itching about here?
haha a troll profile, so original
But it seems Glen didn't cared about that.
Try that.
Can also confirm that there's zero stutter running the game at max detail and pushing double the number of frames in nvidia 3D vision on a 2080Ti (no ray tracing). A year ago, the devs blamed the UE4 engine and shader caching which we all knew at the time was a load of horse puckey to excuse the aftermath of including Denuvo.
If there is any stuttering with a UE4 game these days, it means you're an unskilled developer, or you're still using a Pentium III, or you're attempting to take the spotlight off the invasive, crippling DRM and make the UE4 engine the scapegoat.
I still encounter stuttering in games like jedi fallen order, origin version.
As long as it's bound to your steam account it will ALWAYS be a glorified rental.
You can back up Steam and any games that don't have extra DRM and play them offline indefinitely.
Steam's Offline Mode lasts indefinitely, and your entire Steam installation and games that use only it as DRM can be copied/pasted to as many machines as you want without ever needing to validate anything online. Games with Denuvo, Ubisoft Connect, and EA Desktop have built-in off switches.
Denuvo games force you to check in even after you buy them. Steam-only games -- like The Callisto Protocol after this most recent update -- don't.
(Ultra preset no ray tracing)
Pretty much. Denuvo was announced 4 or 5 days before release and that's when the fire started. Everyone then realized it wasn't like Dead Space at all and the fire kept growing.
Be transparent early and often about Denuvo malware so everyone knows to stay the hell away from your greed addiction.
