Yeah, this game sucks

No scoreboard (Everyone's a winner)

Specialists (Corny, they look uncanny and ugly and the writing is so bad, also very hard to tell enemies apart from teammates)

Can't switch squads (Why?)

19 Weapons on launch (2 LMGs LMAO, they have more ready but they're using it to pad out the season passes)

Hazard zone is a buggy mess

Portal (Over glorified, full of xp farms)

Runs like garbage on PC (People with 3090s are barely getting 100+ fps)

No team work (No weapon/Gadget restrictions means everyone is running rocket launchers. Specialist system makes it even worse)

No campaign

Cringy end of game (Lets have 3 60 year old women talking about how much they enjoyed killing people "btw she's looking for her lost son", BF3 voice acting is so bad)

Removed free first person executions (replaced them with garbage third-person MTX animations)

Wall hack specialist

No Voice Chat

No server browser

UI is awful

Awful sound design (Dice used to be good at this)

Removed ALL chat (No scoreboard and you cannot communicate with the enemy team so now cheaters can run rampant, coupled with a specialist with literal wall hacks. Good luck calling out cheaters)

Awful gunplay (Automatic weapons have extreme bullet deviation beyond 30m, bullets never go where you're aiming. Snipers are now super strong because no one can hit them with anything)

Can't tell how close medics are

Reviving is a clunky animation that we were told was a placeholder, massive downgrade from even BFV reviving

Yeah, I ain't buying this garbage. BTW people are going through a honey moon phase with the game. People desperately trying to defend their awful spending habits.

I'm going to update this post with everything wrong about this game.

It's obviously a lie. People like to make up these things just to troll. It's well known by now you barely can get 100+ and usually stay at the 80~90 fps range on 3080s and 3090s at high resolutions.

Spent 4 hour trying to fix this sad excuse for a game exclusively using my CPU for rendering completely forgetting about my 3070. The Beta played fine. Cant believe steam lets this asset flip free2play moba looking/feeling ass game on their platform and lets them charge 110AUD for it lol

crossplay isn't forced, all of my friends turned it off and we were still able to get into some full matches, everything else you stated is on par though. no classes, no teamplay, no revives, no healing, no ammo, can't change squads, cant create squads, can't get more than 3 other friends into the same game, and if you're already in a full squad, you aren't getting your friends in with you without pulling out and queuing for a new match together. flight controls suck, hit reg is terrible, can't even recreate class load-outs (cant be engineer with repair tool and rocket launcher), specialists don't specialize in anything. I enjoyed running around and playing the game (aside from no revives or teamplay) but every other mechanic and decision Dice made for this game is completely baffling. I had faith in Dice for a new modern BF game, apparently that faith was misplaced. They don't care about BF fans, they just want in on that COD money and MTX.

Hate to say it but I saw this coming due to current gaming trends, the direction of BF for years, they don't seem to be listening to what the original fans of the game want and little by little, all those people bailed out or got turned off.

I did watch a few videos today, the graphics look good to me. Like some say, the maps seem too large and I don't know how that will affect game play. More players doesn't necessarily mean the action will be good or even make the game better in that type of situation (128).

I'm going to hope for a good experience, in reality not expecting anything but average at this point. Like many games over time, they can change drastically and sometimes for the worse. I'm sure it will be something to play to pass the time and a new experience.
